Perched at 2,350 metres in the Grau Roig sector of the Grandvalira ski area, Hotel Iglu Grandvalira is a unique experience in Andorra: an ephemeral village built entirely from ice and snow, rebuilt every winter and melting away each spring, making it different every year. Its walls are carved with engravings created by Andorran artists. Accommodation consists of five igloo dormitories of 20 sqm, each sleeping up to six people, equipped with high-altitude sleeping bags that keep guests warm despite the near-freezing indoor temperature. Two igloo jacuzzis, including a private one reserved for suite guests, have open ceilings for stargazing while soaking at 36°C. The igloo restaurant, seating 65, serves fondue and mulled wine, while a heated dome with a fireplace welcomes guests after dinner. A truly extraordinary experience, blending adventure with winter comfort.

The Igloo Hotel is located in the Grau Roig sector, high up in the heart of the Grandvalira ski area, accessible only by snowcat from the slopes. The experience unfolds far from any town, in a pristine mountain setting ideal for stargazing away from light pollution. The nearest airport is La Seu d'Urgell, about 33 km away. Andorra la Vella and Pas de la Casa, with their shops, remain accessible by car to round out the stay. The Canillo Motorcycle Museum is about 10 km away.
